In a nutshell

Do you have excellent people management experience and strong leadership to lead a team of 12 AvMed Trainers ensuring delivery is compliant and meets quality standards?

You'll be a medical professional with key qualifications and ideally a credible trainer in your own right.

This is a key role critical to the delivery of medical training to our cabin crew, pilots and business against our training plan.

Day to day

Your real passion for motivational leadership will promote and maintain strong employee engagement and delivery excellence.

You'll set accountabilities driving team performance and maximise talent to support wider training requirement within delivery

You'll consistently influence and implement change to support effective training delivery
 
Completion of all performance development activity i.e. Observations, 121’s, Reviews, feedback in the moment, supported by written paperwork specifically relating to all regulatory criteria
 
You will role model delivery excellence to trainers and the wider business
 
You'll engage with the business to organise bespoke delivery of training/briefings. Improve knowledge and skills on a regular basis
 
Assist with resource planning to meet establishment needs and train to cover trainer shortfall
 
You'll maximise alignments and share expertise collaboratively with Medical departments

About you

Your people management experience and strong leadership will be gained in a previous role, you'll also hold key medical qualifications. It would be highly advantageous to have come from an aviation medical background or a highly regulated training environment.

Do you hold an accredited training qualification e.g. CITP/CIPD or equivalent or have experience of medical training?

Medically qualified and registered to RN (1) level or equivalent you'll maintain knowledge through membership of forums e.g. RCN in Flight Nursing, Travel Health forums, ERC. You'll have an interest reading appropriate journals, research and attend conferences, meetings and forums.
