Working in partnership Engineering Management to drive, develop and define a continuous improvement framework across Engineering that enables the managers and supervisors to achieve optimal performance and productivity.
Responsible for the continuous improvement strategy working in partnership with the Engineering management, Developing the future capability of the teams to ensure the output becomes a true point of difference for our people.
Working with Operational Managers and Resource Planning teams to develop a forecast model for individual training requirements, which is built into the overall resource plan.
Lead the tactical real time continuous improvement coaching plan in partnership with the Operational managers, ensuring new approaches and, updates and FAQ’s are tracked and communicated live and in the moment.
We are looking for someone with supervisory management experience, coupled with a high level of commercial awareness and business acumen. It would be advantageous to have a sound knowledge of the requirements of EASA Part 145 and Part M and Health & Safety regulations, as well as the legal requirements such as Trading Standards.
With the ability to provide effective, strong leadership and mentoring skills you must be a strong negotiator with great communication and relationship building skills, which enables you to effectively manage group and interpersonal conflict situations. Your leadership skills will help the team deliver on KPIs. Profit and loss accounts and implementation of employee improvement schemes whilst exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills with a solution orientated focus are also attributes we are seeking.You’ll need experience in the implementation of robust Engineering Production or Back Office strategies to enhance service and improve operational efficiencies. If you have demonstrable experience of supporting and leading a culture and systems change programme, which delivers clear results, alongside analytical skills and working knowledge of financial statement analysis and staffing models we would like to hear from you.
