In a nutshell

Reporting to our Manager – Corporate Sales Development you'll be responsible for supporting Virgin Atlantic’s Sales efforts with analysis and implementation of global corporate sales programmes. You'll work alongside a range of stakeholders and your main responsibilities will be to create, negotiate and manage Virgin Atlantic's corporate programmes to ensure appropriate revenue and market share performance by segment.

Day to day

Develop analytical models to successfully create, negotiate and manage corporate revenue programmes and market propositions to achieve VAA’s revenue budget.
Assist sales managers by building and analysing deals using corporate sales development tools.
Monitor and review customer segment performance and provide first level insight performance reports and commercial terms.
Implement global technology and processes to support the improvement of organisational capabilities and results.
Build analytical systems to create data insights that offer right level insight at all levels of the global sales organisation.
Use analytical tools to create regular and ad-hoc sales insights for all levels of sales organisations.
Assist the Head of Global Sales Development to understand key corporate performance trends and themes.

About you

We are looking for an Analyst with preferable airline experience who also possesses a strong set of analytical skills and experience in data management, visualisation and modelling to join our team. You'll have a strong understanding of airline economics and business drivers alongside being able to manage multiple priorities under aggressive deadlines. We'll also need you to have highly proficient PC skills including knowledge of data management and analytical tools such as Tableau and Prism as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Power Point.
Other elements we are looking for include strong written and verbal communication skills as you'll be expected to make clear and concise presentations to management and external organisations. Collaborative working is key in this role so you'll need excellent relationship management skills to build and maintain this network.
There is a requirement to be flexible to travel internationally on occasion and it's preferred if you have an advanced degree in Business, Economics or Airline Management.
