In a nutshell

We’re looking for creative, enthusiastic Digital Product Designers to join our new User Experience team at Virgin Atlantic. This is a unique opportunity to design new digital experiences for one of the world's most loved brands, whilst helping to shape an ambitious new design team.
Digital Product Designers will work alongside our product managers, content specialists and developers to create our UI design language. The UX team is responsible for the design of all digital touchpoints across Virgin Atlantic’s service. From the dot com website to airport touchscreens, from the app to our Flying Club loyalty scheme, plus all the exciting new stuff we’re working on.

Day to day

Designing new components for the Virgin Atlantic UI library
Sketching new interactions and UI
Working alongside UX Researchers to prototype design concepts
Mapping out user experience flows
Working with internal stakeholders to run workshops that engage, excite and elicit ideas
Collaborating with Product Managers to design optimisation tests

About you

We’re looking for designers who are comfortable across the UX-UI design process: discovery workshops, sketching, prototyping to the delivery of beautiful high-fidelity UI designs. You’ll be happy working both on high level UX design, as well as crafting detailed level interface and interaction design. More importantly being comfortable articulating not only what you did, but more importantly why you did it.
You will have commercial experience designing beautiful digital products, ideally in an agile environment. You may be in-house, agency or freelance – we don’t mind.
You’ll be well versed in the usual design tools (Sketch, Photoshop, InVision, Figma Axure etc.) and always happy trying out new tools. When necessary, happy to travel to work with our partners.

The perks

Our pioneering spirit and passion keeps our brand vibrantly alive. That's why we give our people the rewards that they deserve. We have a whole host of benefits in place to help you enjoy life to the full, as well as a world of travel opportunities including up to seven flights a year to a wide range of fabulous Virgin Atlantic global destinations. We also offer a competitive benefits package including pension and private medical schemes, life assurance, child care vouchers and excellent discounts across the Virgin Group of companies. We appreciate that life is busy, so when operationally possible remote working is available.
