In a nutshell

In this role, you will deliver a comprehensive and efficient recruitment administration service, delivering best in class candidate process and service levels required by the Applicant, Hiring Manager and Resourcing team. You'll be responsible for contributing to a seamless, timely on-boarding process.

Day to day

Sending out offer paperwork and contracts for both internal and external hires.

In conjunction with our referencing partner company, you will manage the DBS & reference checking (vetting) processes for all applicants.

Co-ordinating and applying for airside IDs for successful applicants.

Providing administration support for assessment centres, psychometric and other selection exercises and tests as required – meeting and greeting, booking rooms, carrying out testing.

Maintaining links with the Learning team in relation to 'Hello' induction programme administration to ensure smooth process & excellent candidate experience.

Delivering an effective and efficient end-to-end service to all applicants in a way that demonstrates our company values and portraying a positive image throughout the recruitment process.

Answer queries whether by telephone, letter or email

Liaising regularly with hiring managers and recruiters, keeping them informed of progress particularly at key stages such as advert close, interviews, offer, and references. i-Recruitment system (i-Grasp)

Carry out housekeeping actions such as data cleansing etc

In collaboration with other Resourcing Coordinators, ensuring that the shared Resourcing phone line and e-mail inbox are managed.

Arranging venues, associated admin & general office support and other events (i.e. careers fairs).

About you

We are looking for someone who has strong, proven experience in an administrative support role and has a strong customer service approach. You must have outstanding organisational ability and attention to detail in order to prioritise and complete wide-ranging duties, additionally you need advanced computer literacy with MS Office suite. It is essential you have very strong communication and relationship management skills to liaise effectively with all levels of applicant and employees, representing VAA Resourcing to the highest standards at all times.

You will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with some customer facing experience. If you have some basic recruitment experience in screening / telephone interviewing and have an awareness of relevant recruitment legislation that would be an advantage, as well as qualifications in assessment (e.g. SHL Level A). We need someone with the ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines, have the initiative to anticipate issues and manage a variety of tasks with a can do approach.
