Lead and transform the team to be highly valued financial advisors in the business
Provide coaching to team to improve the overall service to the business particularly with regard to insight and commercial challenge
Prepare and deliver presentations to the Board of Directors and Senior Management Teams, such as Leadership Team and VP population on results, planning, etc. (e.g. Board meetings, Leadership Conference, Annual report, internal comms, Forum updates, Senior Leaders, Department updates)
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyse causes of unexpected variance
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, including long term financial plan development
Ensure clear, seamless, accurate financial planning processes
Lead on finance wide initiatives driving overall function engagement, development, and best practice.
Challenge business divisions to identify risks and opportunities to manage costs and deliver more revenue
Embed strong financial controls within the business and monitor and management of all business cases for capital spend
We are looking for a strong leader to join our team, educated to degree level or equivalent you will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant or CIMA qualified. You must possess significant and proven experience within a senior finance leadership role. Experience in aviation or transport sectors is highly desirable.
With strong leadership skills you will have led, mentored and developed a large team. Possessing excellent, effective communication (written/verbal) skills is essential. You’ll be used to influencing through your dynamic interpersonal skills and work credibly with senior leaders through strong internal/external relationships.
You must have experience in senior level presentation & be a strong strategic and critical thinker. Through your effective use of judgement and ability to view decisions objectively and accurately your contribution will have helped the business deliver a strong performance.
