Contract: Full Time 12 month secondment and **Talent Holding Pool
Hours: Based on 36.16 hrs per week working 4 days on 2 days on between 06.30am - 22.00pm
Location: Heathrow Clubhouse

** We are currently looking to recruit a holding pool for Salon Stylist positions. This means we are looking to build a talent bank of staff ready to attend a course as soon as a date is confirmed. Potentially contracts could be fixed term or permanent depending on vacancies.
It will be your role to make each and every customer feel special by identifying their needs and providing the outstanding experience that Virgin Atlantic's customers have come to expect, itís these skills that make our people the winning differentiator.
We would expect you to arrive at the Clubhouse at least 15 minutes early to ensure you are ready for a briefing which promptly starts at the beginning of each shift.
Once customers arrive at the Clubhouse, you will walk around and introduce yourself and the services we offer. You will run a column offering a comprehensive range of Hair Services for both men and women, including Restyles, Dry styling, Blow dryís, Scalp and hair treatments, facial grooming and shaving.
You will always ensure that our customers are well looked after whilst maintaining a seamless, comprehensive service from making appointments and taking payments. You will explore opportunities in promoting our fabulous hair products and generating revenue from sales.
To ensure that you are delivering the highest possible levels and styling techniques, you will be encouraged to attend internal and external courses to make sure you are set up for success in this specialist, ever changing field.
Where operationally required and feasible to work between Clubhouse spa sites including our Head office in Crawley and help out with other spa duties (i.e. reception, stock etc.)
As well as the personality to develop a rapport with customers from all cultures and the ability to meet sales targets, you should be adaptable to an airline environment. Customers have flights to catch, so turnaround times will be tight. We are a 365 day a year operation, so you will need to be flexible and also be expected to work bank holidays, Easter and Christmas.
