In a nutshell

Accountable for planning output and optimising productivity of the Brand Design team. You'll act as the key interface between internal stakeholders and designers to ensure activities meet business requirements and are delivered as efficiently as possible. You'll be responsible for interpreting global stakeholder requirements and agreeing objectives, creating briefs and overseeing outputs through the design stages to final production.

Day to day

Partnering with business areas (notably Marketing, Customer and Internal Communications) to plan and manage design activity in order to meet stakeholder / department goals.
Evaluate opportunities to flex resources and balance long and short term projects to ensure business priorities are met.
Working with stakeholders to understand and agree required objectives to then develop creative briefs for the Design Team to deliver against.
Ensure all outputs follow a consistent approach in line with brand guidelines and agreed brand design working practices.
Define and approve all project budgets against the overall Brand Design portfolio, ensuring the departmental production budget is maintained.
Identify and implement cost control measures to ensure project spend is controlled and within approved budget.
Ensure appropriate value is delivered against identified project objectives.
Select, contract and manage external suppliers when appropriate, ensuring outputs are delivered to agreed specification.
Apply consistent practices to ensure high quality and effective results.
Maintain roster of supplier agencies and specialist 3rd party resources that can be called upon as required.
Develop and update regular reports using system data, to ensure accuracy of project information and visibility in terms of project timings, budget and resource.
Ensure these reports are used for post project reviews and future resource planning / identifying efficiencies.

About you

With experience of creative / design practices you'll have ability to formulate clear and appropriate written briefs based on business objectives. You'll have excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills to ensure effective liaison with internal stakeholders and external suppliers alongside the ability to influence and explain to how objectives are being met.
If you have worked with either Adobe Campaign or Sales Force marketing cloud, have proven resource planning and project management skills alongside the above then we want to hear from you!
